The tourist attractions within India

The capital of India , Delhi , is the place where most tourists come, mosques as well as bazaars (shopping centres).

The best thing to see within this part of India is the Jama Masjid, which is India 's largest mosque, which was built in the mid 17 th century.

The sacred river Ganges is also located here, built along side this is the wondrous city of Varanasi , this is India 's holiest Hindu location.

In the south east of the city lies the popular city for all tourists Agra, this is where shah Jahan built the momentous Taj Mahel for his wife Mumtaz.

Another popular tourist attraction within India is Rajasthan, Udaipr, which is near the lake called Pichola. In addition to all this, another part of India that is very holy to all Hindus, is the place called, Rishikesh, this is surrounded by hills on three sides of the city, and is located near the holy river Gunga.

The golden temple is also another wonderful place to be seen in India ; thousands of Sikhs from all round the world come to see this holy place.
